Maximal Power 2 way radio KEVLAR reinforced 2-wire surveillance headset earpiece in camouflage color with mic, clear coil tube, earbud, metal clip and 2-pin connector works for MOTOROLA 2-way radios with 2-pin connector. This earpiece is designed with Push-To-Talk (PTT) mic and single surveillance style acoustic tube. It is made with TWO polyurethane jacketed, KEVLAR reinforced wires and heavy duty, rugged polycarbonate housed PTT mic. i work in an industry that you must have a headset. ''no open walkies'' it is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to find a headset that works for an extended time.. this 1 lasted all of 2 weeks before it started crackling like popcorn. bummed it sat on the shelf for 2 weeks ''as a back up'' ... which equals 30 days = no returns after 30 days .
i thought by paying $25 instead of the $12 motorola headsets[that last 2-3 weeks as well] might get a longer life ...''i was wrong'' the description said it was tougher than the rest.....wrong.
purchase at your own risk... sometimes ya get a good one that lasts 2 months.

Couldn’t really expect more quality wise for the item received. The green camp pattern is a lot more subtle than it looks in the pictures, which is good thing. It’s not bright or bold enough to cause problems when working on a film set.
The only thing that I wish it had was different options for the ear piece, just because I have smaller ears.
But other than that, it’s worth the price, and the two people that recommended this headset to me have had theirs for a couple of years now.

Headset is decent looking and I can tell it's made pretty well. The push-to-talk button is nice and clicky and the sound is clear enough. My biggest issue with this headset is it's WAY too short. I'm not a big guy (5'10" on a good day) and I'm really stretching it to the limit. It often pulls up my shirt in the back. Bummer.

Use this constantly on set. It hasn't failed yet. my ONLY complaint is that the mic cord was as long as the earpiece cord. If you are taller then maybe look elsewhere, it isn't exceptionally short but it baffles me why they make the earpiece cord so long but not the mic one equally as long.

Edit: now, many months later, it failed. Still very worth the money. It saw it all on set for many moons.and kept coming.

This is a very good headset that I use in the motion picture/TV industry. It works with the walkies production provides and sounds as clear and has the same quality as the ones you would find at an expendables store. You do need to purchase the coil and molded ear piece separately. So far so good! I may update this review later....
