The MXT275VP4 bundles a high powered antenna system in addition to the already long range MXT275 that boasts triple the range of handheld walkie talkies. The 3dB gain antenna doubles the radio’s power output, while the cable, antenna and roll bar mount allow the operator to secure the antenna to ATVs, UTVs and other off-road vehicles. The added microphone extension cable allows for freedom of placement during installation. The MXT275 also features a powerful USB charging port, allowing the quickest charge time for all your devices, including cell phones and hand-held radios.

Excellent Radio

I purchased and installed it in my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon to use as a trail / travel radio for communications with others. It was easy to install and had several places it would fit in the Jeep. I chose to mount it on the right side of the center console so the could use the USB port to charge her devices. Also when the radio isn’t being used I store the mike in the glove box. I used the short antenna and the reception was good for about one mile. The wife was inside the house using a walkie-talkie while I drove around the neighborhood. So far I’m satisfied but the test will come when we travel to Jasper, AK with several other Jeepers.

Great bundle

Bought the bundle for ease.
Nice 3dB antenna attached quickly to my tire carrier.
Mounted unit to my console with 3M mounting tape.
Used fuse tap to hardwire into my Jeep. Cigarette plug would be useful if moving the unit between rigs.
Mic holder adhesive failed. Center of the sticker separated and fell off in <12 hours. Used 3M mounting tape instead.

Like a Glove

I recently purchased the Bundle for my Jeep. My first impression, the Radio was packaged well and everything needed for the install was included. The Combo handset feels solid and robust and should hold up to the hardships of years of use. The handset extension cable allowed me to place the handset exactly where I wanted it. A perfect match for my Jeep.

Great Product!!!

This is one of the easiest and very important addition to our road trip/ adventure suv.
MXT275 main unit can be hidden anywhere. The controls are on the mic/speakers. Fantastic design.

Compact & Straight forward

I picked up this radio a little over a week ago and got it installed before an off road trip to the mountains. I had some friends coming to town from out of state and they were all running GMRS or HAM. I only had a CB, and a Baofeng UV-5R. I wanted something more powerful, and semi permanent in the truck.
I got the Ghost antenna to go with it and mounted it to the front of my ARB bumper. I need to find a higher spot on the truck but the antenna did pretty well.
I like that the radio has 10 WX stations and it’s easy to go back and forth between frequencies.
Overall, great little radio and fit the bill for my needs.
